Michelle is a board-certified Physician Assistant offering dermatologic care in our Estero office. Born and raised in southwest Florida, Michelle not only understands the importance of good skin care and protection, but great skin surveillance. She strives to provide the most comprehensive care to each patient with an emphasis on education. She believes educating patients provides the best results for collaborative care between the provider and patient.
Michelle graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL and later completed her graduate program in Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine where she obtained her Master of Medical Science (MMS) in Physician Assistant Studies. She has always had a special interest in Dermatology, as she worked in the field for three years prior to becoming a PA.
Throughout the years, Michelle has also dedicated time to serving those in need. She has a passion for travel which has brought her to California, India, Honduras, and China where she has spent weeks at a time volunteering at various schools, hospitals, and clinics. Now as a Physician Assistant, it is her goal to continue serving those at a higher capacity as a licensed provider. Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and family, participating in hobbies such as lobstering in the Keys, drawing, and exercising.
Michelle is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (FSDPA); and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
